#37 – Strawberry

Bottled (21) 375ml and (12) 750ml (from 5 gallons) at 18% ABV on 8 December 2013.

At last a worthy successor to #1 Strawberry, after the meh #9 and disappointing #10!  I think the lessons I’ve learned over the past 4 years or so have indeed paid off, and is very evident in this wine.  Its residual sugars are very well balanced versus the natural strawberry tartness, it’s not bone dry, and certainly not overly sweet.

Update 14 August 2014 – there’s still a little sediment in the bottom of the bottle (well, those that still remain!), but a lot less than what there is in my other strawberry wines — progress!
