#48 – Rainier Cherry

Bottled (8) 750ml and (21) 375ml (from 5 gallons) at 14% ABV on 12 December 2015.

These cherries (and those from #49 Bing Cherry) are from late in the 2014 season, which kept well in the freezer until I had time and to turn them into something tasty, and play with my new bladder press…  🙂

This one is bright, clear, and a nice light yellow color.  It has a nice cherry/floral aroma, and has just enough sweetness on the tongue to bring out the Rainier cherry flavor without being too sweet — perhaps halbtrocken would be the best to describe it.  Much more refined than #26 Rainier Cherry…
