#10 – Strawberry

Bottled (14) 750ml (from 3 gallons) at 15.5% ABV on 20 September 2011.

Revisited a bottle set aside for 2013 on 30 December 2013…  I remember that this batch was somewhat of a disappointment, and that it tasted (for lack of a better word) “green”.  Perhaps the strawberries that I used weren’t quite ripe enough yet.  It doesn’t have as strong of a strawberry nose as the first or second strawberry does, and yes, it still tastes “green” with not-the-greatest aftertaste.  I think the remaining bottles of this will end up being donated to Science for experimentation…
